YSL Evening Skirt, Fall-Winter 1979-1980In 1977, Yves Saint Laurent dedicated his Fall Winter couture collection, "Les Chinoises" to Imperial China. The country was a great source of inspiration for YSL. The same Chinese influence is seen in YSL's 1979 1980 ready to wear collection. This rare skirt from the 1979 1980 collection is constructed in satin silk with a beautiful black and purple chrysanthemum pattern and features a high slit on the left side.
